"We stayed in the property for 2 nights. It was a short drive from okemo ski resort. The home is clean and lots of entertainment. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. The home is on top of a steep driveway so make sure you have 4WD if you go in the winter. Only complaint is that the didn’t have any firewood in the house for the fireplace. We did ended up getting some on our own and I’m still waiting for them to reimburse me."

"This cabin was the perfect little spot for a New Years vacation. It’s easy to get to, has parking on site, and is a short drive to get groceries, some shops in town, and more. We loved the nostalgic feel of the appliances and decor, including the retro Nintendo comforter! We cooked all of our meals while here, the stove and oven worked well and there were plenty of pots, pans, etc. The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the entire place well, even during a snowstorm. "Our family of 5 are old hands at renting in Ludlow for skiing. Every place is unique but this cabin is at the top of the list. We ski our faces off all day (and night, too) and loved staying in this cozy, warm, rustic cabin.Kitchen area is spacious, clean, perfectly arranged and a pleasure to cook in. Living room has a sectional couch, amazingly huge tv, and easy to use pellet stove that makes the whole place cozy and really warms up the loft sleeping area. Regular heat source is a modern split...

"Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here."
