"Everything about our stay was exceptional. We stayed at the property over a long weekend with our fairly large group (including toddlers and dogs) and found it to be spacious and comfortable. "I stayed here with my 5 girlfriends for a weekend to celebrate my 50th. After a couple of them left, some of the Dads came up with the kids. The property was spacious with ample bathrooms. Everything was really clean. My friends enjoyed the extra spices that were left behind in the pantry for cooking our meals. We roamed the property near the creek and the kids enjoyed the fair garden. We were finally able to enjoy the jacuzzi right before we left. We can't wait to come back! Just a head's up...

"Great get away, remote yet within easy reach of Nevada City and Grass Valley. Was a wonderful place for our post-thanksgiving family retreat (7 people, ages 17-83 plus dogs) where we bonded with lots of good conversation in the lovely house which is well designed with open spaces. Secure gated area for dogs which is very nice. Lovely property to stroll around. Recommend day trip to Empire Mine and to Nevada City. Overall, a terrific visit"

"This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. "The house was great for a comfortable stay in the mountains with just a couple downsides. The host (Annalise) is absolutely lovely and super communicative. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and she picked up immediately when we called and helped us get back in. The bunk room was perfect for our group of kids (9-14) -- filled with games and toys which is always amazing when traveling with a pack this age.
