"We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. We are a 3 generation family and this worked well for everyone. Plenty of communal space to spread out into, good central heating and a beautifully kept garden. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom perfect...

"We had a lovely short break staying at The Garden Room in the grounds of Andy and Vivienne's property. It is a super space. Very comfy and quiet, and we found everything we needed. Andy and Vivienne are perfect hosts and we enjoyed our chats. Somerton is close by for essentials, and there are also various pubs for eating out. Lots of places to visit nearby as well so a great location. We would totally recommend and would be very happy to return."

"Had a cracking NY here. Amazing house, you could spend a life time looking at all the furniture, objet d'arts and the history of the house. Grand, perhaps a tad cluttered in the kitchen, but quite and very comfortable beds. Showers are a bit weak, but lovely village and pub 5mins walk from the house. Bet it's super in the summer, with the french doors open on the garden."

"This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. Plenty of soap and detergent too. The location is in a peaceful setting with lovely views. In additional to the large tv in the living room which includes a dvd...

"The property is spacious and very bright. The kitchen is well equipped, large and very functional. The two living rooms are very comfortable with one having access to a patio with lovely views and the other with a cosy fireplace. The bedrooms are very comfortable and again very bright with views across the countryside and garden. The garden is absolutely lovely with the ponds and stream running through the it. We saw lots of wildlife in the garden such as rabbits, deer, buzzards, coots, ducks,...
