"We stayed here for 2 nights while at the festival. We couldn’t pick up the key until the previous guests had left and the guy on reception was lovely and very accommodating. He gave us a call as soon as the key was handed in so we could get to the festival ASAP in the morning. Really appreciated this! The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-appointed, and bathroom is nice. The room was warm given the time of year, but equipped with a fan and the team were happy to provide use of their fridge since there is no longer an in-room fridge - so no issue. "Room had been modernised and was very clean and pleasant. Abundance of hot water for the shower. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. A limited menu but well cooked and enjoyable. Only downside is hotel situated on A39 and the traffic started at 5 am"

The continental breakfast was much more than the usual breakfast provided at hotels and inns. We had dinner there too, which was delicious. The inn exceeded our expectations in every way."

"Two night stay on a business trip so not looking for anything fancy, just a comfortable place for the nights. Nice old pub, good size room with large bath/shower and the usual tv, kettle, etc. Restaurant was a surprise - interesting menu, reasonably priced and really good food. Not the usual pub microwave fare but well cooked fresh food which I thoroughly enjoyed."
