"Our hiking trip to Shenandoah Nat park was unexpectedly enhanced by our stay at Birds and Bees cottage! What a lovely, comfortable place with amazing view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and acres of pastures. The turkeys and llamas were so interesting to watch. I particularly liked when the turkeys gobbled in unison! The owners were very nice and informative. Would definitely stay again and recommend."

"The little green house was conveniently located and easy to find. The house is older, but was tastefully and comfortably decorated. My biggest concern was the steps to enter the house. "Our stay was nice and quiet, we had camp fires nightly, and while the train is loud it scarcely goes by. My only true issue was the long, uphill, potholed, gravel, dirt, and Mason block driveway was very difficult to ascend on motorcycles,. Overall it was a pleasure "

"This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already...

"Just as advertised and more! Super clean, comfortable and cute, we loved the cottage. Beautifully decorated and well stocked, they kindly provided additional wood for the fire pit. "Property was just as described, and very convenient. We were in the heart of Crozet and so close to our destination. The house is tastefully decorated and the hostess replied almost immediately to our questions. I use a walker for all mobility, so the upstairs was inaccessible to me. We knew that in advance, and were able to make it work because the downstairs was easily accessible. We would stay here again. "

"This is a great place with an incredible view. The unit is nicely appointed with quality dishware, glasses, towels etc. We had a small problem with the TV when we checked in and the owner drove 2-3 hours to deliver a new TV the next morning. You just cannot beat that kind of service. We had a few guests during our month-long stay and every one was very taken with the place. Highly recommend."

"We needed a break from the 2024 election craziness and headed towards the foothills. Langley Cottage was perfect. Sitting on the porch, taking in the Fall foliage with a glass of wine was very relaxing. The Host, Barb was wonderful! She offered a fire log for the fireplace so the ambiance was a nice touch."
