"For me, this place was perfect! It was just me and my dog, so it was more than enough space. The place is decorated simply and very cozy. My only concerns (not enough to lower rating) are there is no outside lighting and the lock on the back door does not lock unless you are holding the door and pulling it toward you. "Property and hosts are superb!! We had a great time with a beautiful view. The sunrises were awesome. The drive in a little tricky but once in well worth it and after a time or two not bad at all. House was quiet and secluded. Very nice for time with my wife. We were 1/2 hour from the park, were treated very well and would highly recommend this property to anyone!! It was wonderful !!"

"Our hiking trip to Shenandoah Nat park was unexpectedly enhanced by our stay at Birds and Bees cottage! What a lovely, comfortable place with amazing view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and acres of pastures. The turkeys and llamas were so interesting to watch. I particularly liked when the turkeys gobbled in unison! The owners were very nice and informative. Would definitely stay again and recommend."

"Our stay was nice and quiet, we had camp fires nightly, and while the train is loud it scarcely goes by. My only true issue was the long, uphill, potholed, gravel, dirt, and Mason block driveway was very difficult to ascend on motorcycles,. Overall it was a pleasure "

"Property was cute and quaint. Only thing we missed out on was the goat on the photo or some cows in the backyard that other reviewers mentioned. I think it was simply timing not on our side! But kids were looking forward to seeing animals. Jena has put a TON of time into providing resources for her visitors. Brewery nearby (Alpine Goat) was one of the best we’ve been to. Fantastic location!!!"

"This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already...

"My lifelong friend and I came for a girls weekend in October and this property did not disappoint!! It is an absolutely beautiful place; peaceful and quiet. There were two other groups of guests staying in the other two rentals, but they were all awesome. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer.
