"2 adults and 3 young kids so finding a hotel that accommodates all in one room is difficult but I found this little gem. We had a room with one double bed and 3 single beds. Beds really comfortable, room very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge with bottles of water provided. Plenty of clean towels and small bottles of showergel etc. Only a few minutes walk from the city walls. Great place to stay for the price. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "Very smart accomodation, rooms very well presented with great decor. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Very friendly owners and a simple and effective check in and out. Nice location in Fulford, on the edge of York centre and plenty of good pubs and restaurants in short walking distance."

"The property offered good value for money, was 5 minutes walk from the Minster and city centre. Parking was free outside the place and the staff were attentive and polite. The carpet in our room had a few coffee stains by each bedside table, the bed was very comfy though and the room was quiet. We would definitely book to come again. The dining room could benefit from some music at breakfast time to break the silence. And maybe some plug-ins to freshen up the hallway. Apart from that, it was...

"We had a couple of nights stay in the New Inn and it was a lovely clean comfortable place. Great check in and access to a fridge, plates and cutlery if you need it. Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away. "
