"We had a wonderful time staying along the beautiful Kennebec River. Chris was very punctual with his thoughtful responses to my questions before and during our stay. If you're thinking about visiting in the winter, my only recommendation would be to come with good winter tires or AWD/4WD. The drive is fairly steep and although very well maintained by the plowing contractor, it is tricky when covered in 6". Gorgeous area, we will be back!"

This year's event was at Sugarloaf & Saddleback, and this huge, well-equipped house served our needs perfectly. We had a great stay, watched the superbowl, cooked three big dinners, and generally had a blast. I recommend this property with five stars!"

"This is a very nice, new place. Lots of room and convenient location on Sugarloaf Mtn. It had all of the amenities you will need. Sugarloaf is wonderful too. Worth the drive up there!"

"...and that's a lot, because we had high expectations. The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts were always a quick phone call away. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the house is close to town but tucked away for privacy too. We'll inquire about another stay next time we ski Sugarloaf."

"The property was wonderful. Kitchen was open with all that we needed. Beds were comfortable. We loved the wood stove and rockers in front. House was neat and clean. We were blessed with some new snow and so had an excellent time skiing both alpine and cross country. Peter was responsive when there was 10 inches of snow falling. We recommend the place highly."

"We loved our vacation at Camp Baumann. The house was spacious and roomy yet cozy at the same time. So fun and unique and comfy spots for the whole family inside and outside on the multiple decks and docks. Loved the kayak and paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit - you name it. Steve was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my many questions and requests for recommendations. All 11 of us had a great time. "

"Look no further! This place has everything you need and then some. The location is absolutely perfect. It is off the beaten path and so serene, but still close enough to activities and food places to make it well worth a bit of extra driving. There is a Japanese soaker tub which was very cool and a steamer shower which is like a combination of a sauna and shower. Such a treat!! If you're into stargazing, you're in luck. The sky puts on a show nightly. We were lucky enough to see the ATLAS...
