"Very new Hotel. I booked the executive studio, so the room was big and plenty comfortable. It's connected to the Grand Batam mall just next door and I don't need to walk outside to access the mall, which is very convenient. The only bad thing was that noise isolation from outside is poor. I could hear car noises form the outside. And for some reason they are doing some kind of remodeling/construction either upstairs or downstairs on a Saturday. I could hear the electric saw noises and hammer banging sounds. I understand you need to do remodeling sometimes, but Saturdays are busy and mostly likely have a customer on other rooms. So, should pick a less busy day to do it."

"**Had initially submitted a 3/5 star review for delayed check-in and about the "ocean view" villa not having any view of the ocean. I was quickly contacted by Kaleb from guest relations who assured me that the hotel takes the feedback seriously. They offered various options for service recovery which we gladly accepted.** Overall experience - the hotel is very clean and relatively new, and the amenities are more than sufficient for a short stay. The best part of the experience is the staff - all of them (including those at the two restaurants) were super friendly and always greeted us with smiles and asked if we had any issues and how they could help. Around the area, we had heard before the trip that Plaza Lagoi was a ghost town with vacant shop spaces but it wasn't as bad. There were a couple of restaurants, a Yeah Mart, a Mama-B bakery and a gelato shop, and a massage spa too."

"Amazing hospitality from staff"

"Relaxing stay with attentive service. The resort grounds are lovely and new, and facilities are well spread out. Food quality was ok given the price and the prices of treatments at the spa (at the neighbouring Holiday Inn) were very affordable. The only downsides were the smell (liken to wet dog smell) that greeted us when we first entered our garden pool suite. It took some airing and a dehumidifier supplied by the resort to mediate the matter plus the safe that kept malfunctioning. Otherwise, everything else made for a lovely long long weekend in Bintan."

"Absolutely love this resort. I’m definitely coming back. Special mention to Andry. His service has wowed me. His dedication to providing good experience during our entire stay was impeccable. It was a unanimous agreement from everyone in the family that he made a difference to our stay in Batam. The property may be a bit aged but they are making efforts to upgrade the property progressively. The spa was world class. I am a seasoned traveler and the spa here was one of the top. This was my kids’ first time and I have to say I have spoiled them starting them with one of the best spa experience. Simply beautiful. A very memorable trip for my family. Returning to Batam after over 20 years, I was spoiled. Tried three resorts in Batam and this one wins hands down. Next time, I want to try the in-villa bbq. Sean and Michelle"

"Great room, room cleaning and the pool is great in the wvenings"

"Rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and the surroundings are quite beautiful. There are only two dining choices on weekdays and there many things to do during the day as the city and towns are not close and there are no interesting places to visit nearby. It's great if you want to sit around the pool all day, but not if you want to get out and see things."
