"The property is very spacious and quiet. The rooms were an adequate size, and there were four bathrooms, which were plentiful. I enjoyed the open, dormitory-style setup on the upper level, with the large-screen TV. The sofa was extremely comfortable. The kitchenette did have a full-size refrigerator, which was helpful. "Beautiful property and home, sparkling clean and meticulously maintained. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed in the kitchen - utensils, cookware, condiments and seasonings! Plenty of clean towels, comfortable furniture, everything was great. Lots to do in Elizabeth City, but we Spent much of our time on the dock, catching crabs and enjoying the lovely sunsets. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful experience!"

"We had an amazing 6day,5 night stay at the Bay House. What an amazing size for my family of 5 and our friends family of 3. The two bathrooms a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. After kids went to bed the porch overlooking the sound was the perfect spot for the adults to hang and play games the rest of the night."

"This property is about a 15-20 min drive from a main road and about 30 min from the closest town. There is very little signal until you get inside and connect to wifi so make sure you have your check in information saved (door pin) before you get there. That said, we were very happy with our stay. I spent most of my time relaxing and reading on the balcony. My husband and son drove to Elizabeth City each day (about 30 min each way) to grab food and to go golfing. The views were great, the inside...
