"1st time in Alaska! We enjoyed staying at this home just a few minutes from everything in Soldotna. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were great to work with and answered questions quickly. Thanks for a great stay!"

"This home is very beautifully constructed and extremely inviting. Bethany was great and we had no problems accessing the home or getting in touch with Bethany when needed. We were visiting from Wisconsin and after 14 hours of flights and layovers it was so wonderful to rest in such a peaceful place. The beds are comfortable too! We will be back!"

"This was a great place to stay! We had 7 people in our crew that came to Soldotna to go fishing. The house was very nice, clean, and centrally located. I would definitely recommend this place for others to stay!"

The lower unit at Birch Bend is accessed at the back of the house.

"The unit was clean and very comfortable. Worked out great for us as we were in and out going to hockey tournament games in Soldotna and Kenai. Loved the friendly neighbor dog. :)"

"The listing was exactly as advertised and in a nice little neighborhood right in the heart Kenai several blocks from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary equipment to cook and feed a family during our two weeks stay. The bathroom had plenty of linens and all the condiments you would ever need including some you may have forgot at home. The very first night we stayed we had a moose visitation at the front door and on the second night the most spectacular northern...

"We came for two days and had a great time. The outdoor space was amazing and our kids enjoyed being able to play outside. The house was well stocked and the host was awesome. We would stay here again!"

"This cottage has everything you need. Neat clean and well stocked. There is a beautiful little creek in the back with salmon still in it. Had bald eagles visit daily. Went kayaking across the street. Also was nice and quiet. The host was super. Communicated very well with us. You need to add this place to your places to go to."

"We loved our night on the river. Our hosts were the nicest, welcoming people. We had just come from fishing and they shared their freezer space with us. Every thing was clean and we had great views. There is easy access to the river if you don't mind a few steps. Consider it a bonus workout. Check out the "kenai flip" technique before you stay so you have the right gear to enjoy the river. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and a great place to get a run in."

"We stayed at Hope Lake Hideaway for four nights and it was a great base for our explorations of Kenai Peninsula. Bill gave use advice on hikes and told us cool stories. The house and grounds were the best accommodations we stayed at during our 2 1/2 week visit to Alaska; the hosts keep all in ship shape!"

"New property in a pretty area across from the Kenai River. Very comfortable and nice interior. Entrance is into the garage and the living quarters are upstairs. Two bathrooms but be aware that one is downstairs in the garage area. It is a nice full bath but requires going down the stairs. Two couples stayed two nights and it was perfect for our stay. Owners were very responsive to our questions."

"Gorgeous cabin with a view of the Kenai River which is also an approximate 75yd walk. Poles are onsight for fishing. Loved our time here. Mark & Jenifer are fabulous hosts. We can’t wait to come back. Short drive for goods & services. Can’t say enough how peaceful this place was."
