"We stayed for 2 weeks with 3 generations of our family. Was a great fit for all of us. The kids loved the pool, we loved the ability to walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes, or just hop in the car and drive for about 2 minutes and be in town!"

"Nous avons bien aimé cet endroit propre et sécuritaire. Comme il n’y a que 7 condos, c’est très tranquille. Nous avons adoré le stationnement couvert, l’ascenseur, le grand balcon avec la magnifique brise, la piscine, les commerces en-dessous des condos et la proximité des plages et restaurants (avec voiture). La laveuse & sécheuse étaient très appréciées, tout comme les serrures électroniques qui nous permettaient de quitter sans trainer des clés. La seule petite chose qui nous a un peu moins...

"We had a great stay at Alta Vista. Patrick and Hilda were amazing owners. Tonya and Miguel were great as well. We went turtle watching ( laying eggs on beach and heading back to Ocean), dolphin and whale watching, Sámara trail hiking. We also watched the monkeys in the trees at Alta Vista. The beach and town were walkable distances. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Pros: Super cute condo. Decent sized bedrooms, friendly neighbors, the property manager is friendly and super responsive (thanks Isamar!), the pool is awesome, good security, kitchen pretty well stocked. Cons: the common areas are small for 6 people, the walk to downtown Samara takes more like 15 minutes on a busy road (it’s about .6 miles), the coffee maker is undersized for 6 guests, and there are no lounge chairs/comfy seating outside. Minimal cleaning supplies available."

"This place was perfect, centrally located and had everything you need for vacation. We were concerned about the corner location on the busy road as mentioned in other reviews but it was absolutely fine. A little noise here and there but never woke us up or was a bother, rather it added to our experience of a bustling foreign getaway. We used a fan that drowned out 99% of the noise. The check in and out process was super smooth and Tyron was lovely to chat with. The property felt secure and well...

"This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping."

"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....
