"Our stay at the Quiet Spot" was amazing. So many places to visit around the area. Surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, they give us an opportunity for pleasant drives. The house is wonderfully enchanted with trees set all around on a huge piece of land. Our hosts, Mindy and Steve have bird feeders and suet around the house for us to bird watch. "What a perfect place to be during a heat wave! The enormous deck is such a jewel of this property and was utilized in so many ways: coffee at the bar, Yahtzee tournaments and scrapbooking at the tables, full moon gazing, huge lake floatie command station, etc. The living room was perfect for whole group movie nights and HGTV marathons for the lazy mornings. "We enjoyed a long weekend of cabin life in this cozy place. We found everything clean and welcoming. We appreciated the plentiful towels, coffee pods, and wood for the fire-pit. The cabin is roomy with 2 beds upstairs plus a twin bed downstairs- a great setup for a family. Our dog had a great time too! The pond behind the cabin was a lovely spot to bask in the sunshine.
