"This is my regular hotel when I stay in Wellington. The location is excellent for my needs; so simple to get into town on foot. It’s comfortable and clean, with excellent, flavourful and hearty food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Where this hotel really shines is in the quality of its staff. Without exception, every person I met on this stay was polite, professional and sparkling with warmth and charm. Special mention of the beautiful lady who manages the breakfasts, and also the team on the front desk. Always a lovely stay, but this trip was particularly pleasant. Thank you all, and I’ll see you again."

"we booked this hotel after having to relocate from another hotel in the middle of the night (at the last minute). We were very pleasantly surprised - the location is very close to everything, so extremely walkable. We were very happy to have an interior room due to all of the noise in the city centre as it was Cuba Dupa weekend (we don’t know if it would’ve been noisy in the exterior rooms. But we were very appreciative to have a quiet room). we ate in the on site restaurant for breakfast on one day - it was competitively priced versus other breakfast/brunch locations. we would recommend others to stay here. If you are using the on-site parking facilities, we recommend having a smaller car rather than an SUV or pick up!"
