"Just returned from a lovely holiday at Bovisand. The views across Plymouth sound were amazing and the kids had a great time. Everything was just as described and our hosts were everything you could ask for. I only had very minor issues. The first being the road into the estate is not for the faint hearted, very narrow single track road with limited visibilty. Had a couple of near misses with drivers driving too fast. "We hit 3 fantastic hot weather days . Very comfortable beds Lovely outlook out the back over the fields. Need to be able bodied to climb down the cliff and check high tide times as access to the beach is cut off at these times. Wonderful rock pools for young ones"

"We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀"

"The accommodation is nice enough, but not amazing. It’s not the most modern or new decor. The furniture is very large for the space and all the cupboards and drawers could use a declutter. Very busy feeling inside. We visited in covid times, so there were no facilities at the site - the cafe was never open. The location didn’t suit our family.
