"Booked a 3 night stay with hot tub to arrive at Lodge to find no hottub looked forward to this break for weeks for it to be ruined"

"I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. The lodge was on a holiday park and the reception staff advised that this happens at least once a week with either VRBO bookings or another booking site I’m not allowed to name in the...

"This home was perfect for our family get away! It was clean and well equipped for us to spend our days out exploring but able to come back and prepare dinner. There was pizza and ice cream available on site as well. So comfortable."

"Keswick Reach was a lovely place to stay and very secluded... too secluded for us. Our car broke down on day 3 of a 5 day stay. We were left solely dependent on what little food we had, what the shop sold and what the restaurant served. We found the shop lacked items like bacon, sausages, bread, etc but had a lot of sweets and crisps. It is far from other shops so we expected more. My dad can't have cheese as it sets his heart out of rhythm, so he could only have garlic bread when it was pizza...

"Stayed for four nights, nice site very quiet and peaceful with a small bar restaurant and shop. The cabin was great very big and spacious and everything you’ll need for your stay. The small bar was good we didn’t eat there so can’t comment but the meals looked good. Was very busy on the Saturday couldn’t get a table but I’d rather see it busy than dead. Would definitely return "

"I could live here! The lodge was close to the entrance, but in a cul de sac, so felt really secluded. Used the hot tub daily, the water was checked twice daily, so felt very confident it was clean and safe. The food in the restaurant was excellent and had a superb Sunday lunch. "We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "
