"Had a great time visiting Logan and Hocking Hills. The house was just as described, and was very accommodating and comfortable for our family of 4. My only negative comment and its very minimal is I wish the property had access to a washer and dryer to use during our stay. Other than this, I would recommend this property. "

"The small house where we stayed was humble, clean, and nicely decorated with great books on the shelves. It was lovely to be by a pasture with wide skies and green rolling hills all around. At night we opened the windows to hear the peepers and farm animals quietly living alongside us. Margot and John were gracious hosts. We loved joining Margot for morning chores and meeting all the animals, especially the dogs. "

"We had a wonderful time together; relaxing, sitting in the hot tub, and playing board games. The location is great, it feels secluded but still close to necessities as well as local activities. The winery down the road is a great spot for an afternoon out then returning to the lodge. My only regret is the weather wasn't warm enough to enjoy the deck and porch swings."

"If you are going to Nelsonvilled or Hocking College, the location is excellent. This is a cool old house. Bring your own soap and shampoo.If you have a dog, be aware that there is a big gap in the fence and your dog can easily leave the nice private back yard. "
