"This was a great location to visit Shenandoah National Park for a few days. It was a 15 minute drive for us to the Swift Run entrance. The farm itself is peaceful & beautiful! Our kids loved the cows out front, and we enjoyed Star viewing each night. I think 3 bedrooms is misleading… the 3rd “bedroom” is a large closet/attic off of the master bedroom, with wooden pallet beds. It was ok for my elementary age kids, but if I’d had teens or other adults expecting an actual bedroom with comfortable...

"Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

"I had my (very small) wedding at the farmhouse with our close family and friends and the entire event was amazing and made perfect by the house and by Lisa. I cannot say enough good things about the beautiful property (unbelievably well renovated and comfortable), Lisa's outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, and how incredibly special it was to have our wedding there - a feeling shared and expressed repeatedly by everyone who joined us as well! "Cute little farmhouse, perfect for a fall getaway. Close to both Shenandoah National park and Harrisonburg.The hosts were very organized with notes throughout the house giving details on how to operate appliances, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and the living room had a guest book with every guest’s recommendations in the area.
