"We were in Homewood for a wedding and this was a perfect location. Besides its proximity to the wedding venue, we walked to the train station for a day in the city. The house is exactly as listed. It was very clean, organized and comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. "We were in town for a friends wedding. House was comfortable and plenty of space. Hot tub was great. Communication was excellent with host, she was assume. "

"We stayed in the back half of the duplex. It was very new and clean and the 5 of us were comfortable in the 3 bedrooms. The train noise is loud at times, but it was not an issue for us; otherwise the neighborhood is quiet. The walk to the train station is pleasant. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was great to have a garage."

"We stayed at this property while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was midway between both families and in a cute neighborhood close to historic downtown Plainfield. My only complaint about the property is the political propaganda posted on the fences in the front and back yards. If you’re running a business you should realize not all your guests share your political views. Frankly I was offended when I pulled up to the property. The election is over. Take the materials down. "

"The neighborhood was nice and house was as advertised. We cooked and used the grill and enjoyed visiting in gathering area with friends. We had a small plumbing problem with the house and the owners very quickly responded and fixed the problem. Would be glad to stay with them again."

"Allen was an extremely attentive host. His house is a true find with everything you need for a comfortable stay, supplying everything you would need with a fully stocked kitchen. Whenever I am in town I would not hesitate to rent his home that guarantees a great stay."

"This updated home is immaculate and had all the items necessary to move in and enjoy a family vacation for 3 days. The kitchen is well appointed with a gas range and all cookware that is needed. The bathrooms are well stocked with towels. Check in and checkout was easy. We appreciated finding this place to stay close to family who live in the area."

"In town for daughters wedding. We came from Texas. Property very easy to find. Had friends and family from Texas and Illinois. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot for wedding and reception location. Place was more than we could have asked for. Very clean. Fenced in back yard was more than perfect for the little mutt. Highly recommend for any occasion. James the Host, was the best. Very professional and asked if we were OK and if we needed anything. The only downfall, and that is on...
