The Waitsfield Inn

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (295)
"It's a small vintage New England Inn - and perfect for those that would rather have a good nights sleep and a friendly atmosphere over the sterility of a large commercial chain. No staff hovering and self check-in. A buffet breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The owner upgraded me to a larger room free of charge after I had made my reservation. I will return next time I'm in the area. "

"Our time at Mad River Inn was incredible from start to finish. Brandon and Susannah were extremely helpful and gracious hosts . They greeted us at the door and attended to every need we had from snacks, to restaurant and shopping recommendations, to a brief history of the property. Some special highlights of the experience included the hottub, gameroom, unlimited tea, extremely comfortable king bed, and delicious, decadent home-cooked breakfasts. I would absolutely recommend Mad River Inn to...

Featherbed Inn

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (48)
"The hosts are welcoming, the B&B is cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious. This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. The breakfast is not your typical breakfast. It is a three course delight. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning we had a sweet scone, followed by a poached pear followed by a potato frittata with lox and poached egg. The...

Ground-level Spacious King Bed Room Bed&Breakfast in Downtown Shelburne! BOS

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"Rose and Anatoly are interesting and friendly hosts at their well-maintained and comfortable B&B. Shelburne proved to be a great location for our 4-night stay: a quiet town offering both good access to Burlington and the amazing local Shelburne Museum, which is unlike anything we’ve encountered before in its diversity and quality of exhibits. Highly recommended!"

Romantic Retreat: Mt. Views, Hot Tub, Movie Theater

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (488)
"Took a ride up for a nice little retreat and for my wife’s bday, such a treat! Jeff even stopped by with some wine as a gift, since I had mentioned it when booking. The space is super cozy and functional, and the hot tub was great way to relax at the end of the day. The gas fireplace gets things nice and warm, too! It had been a while since I personally visited this area of Vermont, super beautiful and remote, but still not too long of a drive to several areas of interest. Looking forward to...

Bridges Resort

3.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (10)
"Very nice place to stay. They conditioned the place to have an entry were you can boot up and leave your skies to dry too. In general, it was a good place to stay as a couple with 2 kids. For more adults, it would be a challenge. Beds were quite hard. They have a lot of utensils, china and silverware. The Bridges also has a shuttle to go to the mountain (so you can leave your car parked). EV charges avaiable. "
