"Overall experience was great with amazing company, however many small touches can make the property exceptional. The property is immediately next to the owner which we were not aware of, but this would have been useful to know particularly for the check in process. The house needs a good clean. It is full of dust in many obvious areas. Doors don’t close. Not everything was as advertised, for example the hammocks were missing. We ran out of toilet paper after 3 days. "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden.
