"Spent three enjoyable days exploring Vienna, and this was the ideal home-base. Three tram stops from train station, and east access to tram and subway for traveling anywhere in Vienna. Three grocery stores with 5-6 minute walk, as well as various restaurants. Apartment is on the fourth floor, but we are all in our 60s and had no problems."

"The apartment is located in easy walking distance of the subway and buses. The bedrooms are quiet and cozy and the front looks out on a quieter street. It was a really convenient and comfortable homebase for our visit to Vienna. "

"Lovely property, very comfortable, great location. nice quiet neighborhood, but with some good bars and restaurants within a 15 minute walk, also decent food shops for eating in. Close enough to the center and Prater to walk. "

"Location is great. Size of apartment is large. Lots of room to spread out. Great amenities. Lots of stains on furniture and rugs. Needs a deep cleaning. "

"We wanted a place that made us feel like a resident instead of a tourist with a nice bed and a kitchen so that we could make coffee and light breakfasts, that was easily walkable to the central city, and to the underground. This provided all of that. There are many restaurants within a very short walk and a store within 2 blocks and the underground within 3 blocks. It only took 15 minutes to walk into the central city. We love to walk the city because where we live in the US doesn't have a feel...

"We were thoroughly impressed by this property! The accommodations were as noted but would say they exceeded our expectations. Lots of space for 3 people. Very delighted with the convenience of the espresso machine!!!! Felt like home! The location was close to the U which made movement around the city so easy. "The hotel was very close to city transportation that mean walking distance 5 min. It was close to restaurants and shopping malls. It had super nice location. Our bed wasn’t comfortable but it’s ok. "

Another great stay at the Meridien in Vienna

"Great hotel in the centre of Vienna just a couple of minutes walking distance away from the Opera, main shopping area and other atractions like the Hofburg. Very nice restaurant and bar with a lot of food and drink options. The spa is ok including an indoor pool and jackuzzy but the water temperature of the pool was to cold."

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The location is incredibly convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the main station (though I initially took a cab, not realizing there was a direct path!). From the moment I checked in, the experience was top-notch. I was upgraded to an executive suite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The bed and pillows were so incredibly comfortable that I slept like a baby—truly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The next morning, I was on the hunt for a great cappuccino after experiencing mediocre coffee at my previous location. The gentleman at the front desk recommended a nearby restaurant, and wow, the cappuccino was so good I ended up having two cups! Everything about my stay exceeded expectations, and I will actually be returning again in a few days. Highly recommended!"

"Brought mum for a long weekend. Mooons is conveniently located with lots of travel links and options. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the whole feel of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. Some building/renovation works taking place, so the decor was unfinished in reception/bar HOWEVER no works being undertaken during our stay so not disruptive at all. The breakfast is AMAZING, and we loved every second of our stay. "

"Great hotel! Amazing location. Walkable to all major attractions. Excellent restaurants. Tram in front of hotel. Beds a great. Could use more storage in rooms. Friendly staff. Perfect 2 week stay in Vienna thanks to the Grand Ferdinand hotel. We will be back."
