"Excellent from start to finish. Stayed for one night although we have stayed before. Beautiful location, hotel, grounds, staff and restaurant. Mentioned at check in it was my wifes birthday. We went for a walk and when we came back there was a bottle of Cava in the bedroom, also when we went for our evening meal they came out with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Lovely staff and we had a really lovely time, would thoroughly recommend."

"What a great location. Easy access and friendly staff plus large rooms, great pressure from the shower, clean, and just steps away from overlooking the Mediterranean. What more could you ask for?! I did bring a car and there is a public parking lot couple hundred feet away where you can roll your luggage over to the hotel fairly easily. Street parking might be difficult, but it is available if you’re willing to hunt for one. Our room had a small step out balcony that overlook the pedestrian street leading to the Balcón Europa. There are people that are obviously walking back-and-forth so if absolute quiet is what you’re looking for, then perhaps ask for a room off of that main pedestrian area, but even with the windows closed, it was hardly noticeable. We would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Nerja. "

"I had a lovely 2 week stay at Rui Monica. The staff were very friendly , Food delicious lots of choice, very good entertainment in the evenings. So easy to get to the beach front from Hotel. I had a little accident were I fell and the staff were amazing so kind, caring and helpful. Antonio the manager was lovely. Thank you all for your kindness and help."

"The rooms were small, but we had a balcony with a mountain view that made it seem sweet. Without that it would have felt cramped. The breakfast was great, worth paying for it. Location was excellent. Roof pool is small but the view is fantastic. "

"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are perfect and very modern. There is literally a place for everything. Beds very comfortable and a lovely terrace. Plenty of towels and the breakfast was excellent. We are vegan but there was enough to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel and staff are so helpful. "

"It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "
