"Very old building in the heart of old San Juan. Place was exactly as pictures showed. Clean, well equipped. Super hot water. Had towels, bedding, shampoo and soap. The place was perfect for us. The host was extremely helpful and replied to messages immediately. Self check-in and check-out was very easy. Noisy at night, yes, but we knew that. It was actually entertaining sitting on the balcony watching the bar scene action across the street from us. Would definitely stay here again."

"The property is great for the price especially in comparison to ones 15-20 minutes down the road. The lady Anna at the front desk is super amazing! So friendly and helpful! "Such a great stay for 2 nights! Location is in the heart of bars, restaurants and within walking distance to all the historical sights. The room is small but in a very cool open air building. Bathroom is not attached but is right across the room and used the same room key - which was no problem for us! The bathroom was very big! We loved our stay and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice place to stay if you'll be out and about exploring the majority of the day! "

"We had a wonderful stay and great time in Old San Juan. The house was well equipped with all amenities (but bring your own laundry soap!) and very clean. The fresh smell was very welcoming. It was warm outside so the AC was great and a must have. Loved how the shutter doors/windows opened to the street. It was a very lively neighborhood with noise well into the night.. this did not bother us in the primary sweet and our daughter slept with ear plugs and slept great. Lots of space and storage...

"Because you are in the middle of the action, you will be happy there is no window in the room because of all the noise outside. The stairs leading up to the room are steep so if you have a large or heavy bag make sure someone can help you carry it up. You can't beat the price and location of this place."

"Hugos place was surprisingly gorgeous. Ive stayed in a few places in PR and this time Old San Juan was a 1st. I loved the beautiful plants that adorned the walkway to the room. The property was clean and quiet. Located in the middle of Old San Juan, close to stores, restaurants and the cruise port. Hugo replied back quickly and addressed any of our concerns. This rental went smooth and effortlessly. Hugos rental is definitely recommended. You wont be dissapointed. "
