"We loved our stay here during our 12 nights! The staff was so friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The room was very clean and well kept when housekeeping made their rounds. The location was perfect! It sits two streets away from Piazza Navona and is near to some of the best dining we had on our trip. I recommend Fattoincasa for their food and especially their steak. Wonderful! The room was small but perfect for folks like us that spent most of our time out in the city seeing the sights. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. I highly recommend this property for anyone that wants to have a welcoming spot to call home while they take in all that Rome has to offer."

"I'll start first that while Smeraldo is tucked deep into Campo de Fiori neighborhood, it is ideal for those familiar with the area and especially first time visitors such as myself. If youre traveling with small children or elderly, just know that the area requires a lot of walking without metro near but taxis at the hotel. My stay was especially brightened by Leonardo, one of the hotel staff, who was always cheerful, assisted with all my needs and questions, and just an all around great guy to talk to. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend first timers to travel light, use a good pack to avoid the heavy cobblestones, and always, always, always make meal reservations for any place in the vicinity.
