"I stay at the Dixie Arms about six times every year for when I visit my grandchildren. I have not yet been disappointed in their friendly welcome clean and comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. Would fully recommend as tremendous value too."

"Stayed again after having an excellent experience on my first stay for work nearby. Once again I received a helpful and friendly welcome. Room is clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and staff are so friendly and efficient. This will be my go to place to stay whenever in the area. It is also very good value. "

"This was a business trip and I only chose this place due to the fact it was really close to where I was going the following morning... what a great surprise. Comfortable accommodation, sensible cost and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. This is not like your typical chain-hotels. Much more personal and friendly for sure and run by a family, so if you're staying in these parts of the country you should definitely support-local and get yourself in here. "

"A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."
