"This was an excellent property, including the outdoor deck, Pier, boat accommodations. The water depth in front of the camp is pretty shallow. And you have to idle quite a ways to get to a boat lane. It’s not a big deal, but it’s good to know ahead of time. We were there during football season, and the TV is left a little bit to be desired. "We are a large family that grew up with a camp at Toledo Bend and decided to celebrate Christmas this year over New Years and recreate some childhood memories and make some new traditions. Our family includes 20 people, ranging from age 6 - 70. 14 of us actually slept at the house and there was plenty of room. The house was a PERFECT size and layout for our gathering. We were greeting with a cake when we checked in, house was fully stocked with EVERYTHING, the location is AMAZING, especially for the fireworks on Saturday! I can’t wait to go back! "

Beautiful view of pier and water (prior to re-decking).

"Our time was amazing from the moment we walked in. We got a nice tour of the home, shown where all the essentials were, extra blankets, cookware etc. the kitchen had everything you could need for cooking. The Internet was fast and the lake was beautiful. We sat outside every night enjoying the quiet and the warmth of the fire."

"Cast Away Camp was perfect for us this weekend! It is very clean and we loved the location. It is nestled in a little cove so it’s nice and quiet. It did list as having WiFi. The property does not have WiFi but that was fine. It definitely did not mess up our weekend!"
