"A true gem, easily one of the most memorable and charming places I have ever stayed in. The staff were all so warm and hospitable. We had a toddler with us and everyone was so sweet and genuinely kind to us, a group of foreign visitors. Every part of the hotel was furnished with charm and personality, with care given to even the smallest details such as the daily floral arrangements and warm matcha and snacks upon our return. "料理と温泉がとても良い。料理は、夕食が部屋食、朝食は会場でしたが、とても美味しくいただきました。部屋食では、仲居さんと女将さんが交互に料理を運んでくれますが、会話も楽しく、弾みました。また、源泉かけ流しの白濁した温泉は、塩原温泉自体がホテルの大型化で少なくなっているなか、とても貴重です。風呂で一緒になったリピーターの方も、やはり温泉と料理に魅力を感じているとのことで、同感です。また、到着後、チェックインしてから茶菓子のサービスに始まり、部屋までの案内など、従業員のサービスも良く、好感が持てます。また、部屋ではWiFiが使えます。なお、通された部屋は、清潔ですが、眺望がないのが残念。また、隣の部屋の客の声も聞こえ、これがマイナス要素です。"
