"We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much."

"This is a small house, well-suited for a couple or two, or for a family where sharing double beds is acceptable. The house is comfortable, but not at all luxurious. The décor is a hodge-podge and there is some unfinished wood trim in the bathroom. The beds are exceptionally comfortable-- slept very well. "The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!"

"Great Host and Over-All property. Very clean house but more attention needs to be taken in bathroom. Towel closet and bathroom loaded with long hair from past renters. Towels had hair all over them. Only things we were not fond of were the neighbors partying, loud music, and foul language with having 4 yr old with us. Also not a fan of the cameras! "We enjoyed the spacious 2bedroom, 2 bathroom home in a great location. Well stocked kitchen and large beautiful bathrooms. It's a very comfortable house for having relatives visit."

"Overall, it seemed like the property manager was not ready for guests. The toilet instantly broke, the pool hadn’t been cleaned in probably weeks, and the apartment had stained sheets. It’s a nice place but really not worth the money."

"Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!"

"This was our second family weekend at Jewel House and it did not disappoint! The big well stocked kitchen makes meal time prep and clean up easy and it has plenty of beds & baths for our group of 17.
