"We had a great stay, home was just as advertised. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, nice outside area with great views. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We were visited every morning and evening by a mallard couple. One evening we were visited by a couple of swans. "We came up for a wedding. It was in a great location. We could avoid 95 traffic and get to most stores and restaurants with little traffic. Plenty of space and unique! "

"Great time! First time in Colonial Beach. Low key family time. House was perfect location for us. Very enjoyable!"

All check in/out processes were smooth and despite some very frigid temperatures, we were comfortable during the entire stay, sidewalks and steps were promptly cleared of snow and salted, and all essentials were available in the house. "We stayed at the hotel while attending an event nearby. Lisa, who manages the reception, was beyond helpful and understanding, all the details of a smooth check-in had been anticipated in advance. We had two rooms booked, and both were in a great condition: clean, spacious. The equipped kitchen was a big help in having our grandson with us. We didn't have any negative moments at the hotel at all."
