"We have been coming every year to la Vendée to visit my family. We have stayed in numerous gites over the years. This is by far the best place! The owners are lovely, great communication and we all appreciated the biscuits on our arrival. The gite is very well equipped, everything you can think of is there and more. Propriétaire agréable, cependant la propreté du logement n'était pas optimale et la piscine était vraiment froide alors que c'était la raison principale de notre réservation, mais nous nous y sommes baignés au début seulement et pour la suite nous sommes allés à la plage car l'océan nous semblait moins froid. Dommage. Sinon on a bien profité du court de tennis en famille, et l'environnement est très calme. "

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 2 familles (11 personnes) sans avoir l’impression d’être « les uns sur les autres », ce qui était précieux. Ce gîte de campagne a aussi les défauts de ses qualités (mobilier un peu ancien, débit de l’eau limité quand les 3 douches fonctionnent en même temps), mais il a un indéniable cachet que nous avons beaucoup apprécié."

"My family had a wonderful stay. The gite is thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. The furnishings are up-to-date and everything works well. The beds are comfortable. "There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future."
