"Beautiful hotel and amazing staff (like Megan who was excellent). Made my wife and I feel at home. Megan served us at Breakfast and checked us in and out, all of which was pleasant and easy going. No fuss. Breakfast was excellent, great variety and top quality ingredients. The hotel is refined and in-keeping with the area. Every detail has been thought through. Having stayed four times, we will be returning. "

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at Lorne House but my first time since I was a teenager. Bob was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d go as far as to say this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in with a lovely old feel and enormous comfy bed. My partner and I were pleased to come back after a long day in Bath to a luxurious bathroom which was the most well equipped I’ve seen from a B&B. "We absolutely loved our stay at Blaisdon House. Our room with the four poster bed was beautiful and charming, we felt truly relaxed. Breakfast was set in a stunning dining room, the attention to detail of the table setting was wonderful and very much enjoyed. Choice of breakfast was also great, with classics and modern dishes to choose from. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We know we will be back when we visit the area again. Thank you for a special stay."

"This Guesthouse is perfectly located for Shops and Restaurants and offered Free Parking too! The Service was superb and I was very well attended to. Even the Breakfast was cooked to perfection! Thank you so much for making my stay so comfortable and pleasant! "

"Having booked a twin room, we ended up with a double bed and a not so comfortable double sofa bed rather than the twin singles we’d booked. Not impressed with the breakfast food either. However, couldn’t fault the staff. All helpful and polite. "

"The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. The gym was well equiped and the pool/sauna/steam room provided a great opportunity to relax. The Club Room was perfectly adequate for two people and came with a sofa, which did allow us the opportunity to sìt while in the room. Breakfast came with plenty of choices."

Great Dog-Friendly Boutique Hotel

"The food in the diner is INCREDIBLE...the service at the front desk awesome. We even had an incident where the door locked in the bathroom and the night front desk came to change out the door handle! Excellent, dog-friendly, place ....note there is NO LIFT...our dog can't do stairs so we were carrying our dogs, our bags and ourselves up several flights of stairs"

"Very easy to find reception as it's all well sign posted. Checking in was very easy and they were ready for us early. Staff were very friendly and informative. Plenty of information leaflets of what's around and what amenities are withig the hotel and where. Dining options, booking advised. We booked breakfast which was a full English style buffet, pastries, fruit, yogurts, coffees, teas, juices etc etc. well worth it. Plenty of parking, there was a conference going on whilst we were there and parking wasn't an issue. We booked an apartment, very nice! Spacious clean and tidy. Absolutely love that the shower gel/shampoo hand wash is Pengaligons. Smelt amazing. There's an outside gym too, walk paths of you fancy going for a walk. Definitely will visit again."
