"Terry made our stay very comfortable through her personal greeting and tour of the cottage once we arrived, as well as all amenities available such as fresh eggs and bananas. The cottage and surrounding property are stunning, and her cute cat who lives on the lenai loved to hang out with us. Only wish we could have stayed longer, would stay here again! "

"We were looking for a place to begin the Road to Hana. This location in Haiku was perfect. We were able to get an early start the next day to beat the crowds. We stayed here again on the way back after our stay in Hana. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Paia town where there are little shops and great eateries: fish, flatbread, ice cream, shave ice, etc. I got here a couple minutes before check in at 4 but received no communication from the owner on how to check in. Apparently the email doesn’t go out until after 4:00 though the confirmation email said it would go out the morning of your stay. However this was quickly resolved."

"The property was perfect for our family with an 8 and 10 year old. The kids slept on the lanai and were very comfortable. It really felt like you were out in nature. John was welcoming and the fresh bananas were great. We split our trip up with one week here and one week on the south shore and we’re very happy we did. "
