Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"Awful place. One star is too much. More like a doss house. Unopened post piling up at the door. Floors could do with a good clean. Hand written paper signs stuck on the door and walls. Very scruffy looking. I arrived at about 2am. My room was very cold. I asked for the heating to be put on. They said "OK" but didn't do it. Heating didn't come on later either. "Loved the consistent mid-century decor, very nostalgic. Get what you pay for, clean facilities, nice atmosphere, friendly hosts. Would've liked the twin beds next to eachother as I had no option for a double, but it's what we booked so no real complaint! Decent view out the back of the hills and churchyard. Pool table and communal area was lovely and well looked after. Short walk to highstreets and pubs, not too far walking from the train station. "

"Excellent stay at The Old Vicarage. The building has obviously been tastefully restored, but still olds some old charm. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with lovely beds and are spotlessly clean. Good tea and coffee facilities and an excellent breakfast. My only tiny issue was that the WiFi was a bit patchy, but I read a good book, so not a huge problem and the TV in the room has all free view channels. Will definitely return. "
