Slebech Park Restaurant & Rooms

5.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (192)
"First thing to say is that the staff were great. The location is fabulous but the place is a little tired. The room was lovely but (here’s an example of tired) the bathroom window was warped so wouldn’t close. The restaurant/bar was closed so there was no place to go other than our room. It also meant, of course, that we had to find somewhere to eat each night and, as the WiFi signal was poor in our room and there was no phone signal, making bookings was not easy. The staff did help out with...

"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

Charming Cottage in the Gwaun valley, near Newport

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (40)
"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "

Architect Designed Eco House In A Secluded Littlehaven Private Lane

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (59)
"This was a really lovely house to stay for a week in Little Haven. It was very quiet, just a five minute walk into Little Haven which is a very sweet village. The house was easy to use, well equipped(butt need to bring bath and hand towels) and the heating was perfectly set so we didn’t not have to change the settings at all(mid to late October). The stairs were not a problem for any of us who were all in late 70s."
