The property is conveniently situated near Pembroke and neighbouring towns. Lovely views, the spa and gym a great bonus, breakfast lovely, rooms spacious with modern bathrooms. Dinner, specials and menu varied and lovely. The stately home feel was also nice with well maintained rooms. Most of all the hotel was well run by experienced and super friendly staff. All in all a great stay.

The Hotel was in a good location as a base for touring around the area. The hotel was nice and the staff were good.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. We stayed on route to the ferry and it’s conveniently placed to access that easily. We used the the Pod Point charger for our electric car over night which was easy to use and worked well. The hotel itself is pretty dated with lots of temporary fixes covering holes/breaks. The part we stayed in was old so the floor above was very noisy when they were walking about as they settled for bed. We also used the pool with the kids on arrival which was nice and they enjoyed it. Unfortunately the dinner was fully booked so we had to get a takeaway. Same with the breakfast as there was no hot breakfast and no kids breakfast price so we gave that a miss and went to Martha’s kitchen which was great for brunch. We also visited Cheeky Chimps soft play to get some energy out of the kids before the ferry which worked well. Overall a good stay and kids enjoyed it.

Overall our stay was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and cosy, with excellent facilities. Good service from the staff. Kids enjoyed the pool. Food was tasty albeit a little pricey for what you got, but dining room was very pleasant. Nice location for visiting Pembroke, Tenby and beaches such as Broadhaven.

Luxury, but tired, at a great price.
This is a friendly hotel, with with good facilities, but is looking quite retro now. To be fair, the prices reflect that. Thd views are lovely, thd building is beautiful and its lovely to relax, explore the nearby Bishop's Palace ruins and not spend a fortune.

Great location. Very peaceful and scenic. Car parking good. A great room with small kitchenette (studio room). Shower was ok (in the bath) Sadly TV signal kept dropping out. Wifi was good. Room very clean but furnishings looking 'tired' and in need of modernisation.

We were in the older building with a nice room but could have benefited from a lift due to the open and narrow stone staircase. It was raining and the stairs were quite slippery. They did not have TV service and the wifi was questionible. The Bishops palace was at the end of the drive and was spectacular. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinners were very good.

I only have one major concern, and that is you absolutely have to have access,, to bottled water in a gym especially where there is steam rooms and saunas.. Especially for the elderly, because severe dehydration, can kill...you you dont have an empty bottle with you , or water taken with you,,,.then a small fountain is just not enough...the rest of the stay was great...

Excellent value for money, but maybe include breakfast in the price because you would never notice as the cost of the room is so good. The room design in the apartments need looking at as it’s hard to watch tv in bed but apart from that brilliant

lovely stay
We have stayed here 4 times and it never disappoints, full of character. We were lucky to be upgraded, and the room was lovely with beautiful views across the countryside. we booked treatments in the spa which was a nice treat too
