"I have visited Ho Chi Minh over the past eight years, and each time, I have stayed at a hotel near my family home. However, on this visit, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Suite Saigon because it presented many upsides, like proximity to the airport, free shuttle bus from and to, and a superb large pool! The staff was outstanding. They constantly reached out to see if they could make my trip more enjoyable. I found a gem in this hotel and plan to book with them next year."

"A short drive from the airport, First Hotel is an excellent hotel with high quality rooms and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the private tours were great - especially the Mekong Delta day trip. Staying in a non-touristy area was an immersive cultural experience. "We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "
