"Well located hotel, in the heart of Bergen. Staff were very helpful, cleanliness was perfect and the breakfast was very impressive. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Only thing to be aware of is that the pool is by appointment / booking and subject to a separate charge. "

"We stayed twice, the second time for a week. The staff is friendly and competent. The location is great -- easy walk to most of the major sites, right on the harbor, near several bus lines, and the bus to the airport stops right next to the hotel. The location is convenient enough that we used it instead of public toilets (which can be difficult to find, and may be pay WCs). There is a grocery store and several eateries nearby, from fast and cheap to gourmet and pricey. The hotel serves a nice breakfast buffet with reasonable hours. The selection is quite good. Patrons with allergies, who avoid gluten, and vegans will find choices for them. In many Norwegian hotels, breakfast is included in the price of the room, but what is rare is that dinner and a late afternoon snack are also included here. The snack is usually just a small square of cake (although you can help yourself to more) plus coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We skipped the snack more often than not, though. It was okay, but not particularly impressive, and we were usually out and about at that time. Dinner is meant to be light, but it was sufficiently satisfying for us. There are usually several different salads, a couple of hot entrees and sides, plus a soup. And if course, there's always great Norwegian bread. They change the entrees every night. The food was good, and it was convenient to have dinner available, plus it saves quite a bit of money. Americans should ask how the thermostat works -- it's different."

"Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel en famille car il offrait la possibilité d'avoir une cuisine et des couchages pour 4 à proximité du centre ville, de la gare et du Port de Bergen, il faut savoir que nos activités principales étant le train Oslo-Bergen et une visite en bateau des Fjords de Bergen. Nous avions été agréablement surpris par la qualité des accessoires et des couchages, la cuisine et la salle de bain étaient très propres, en plus d'être bien équipés. Le côté digital qu'offre la télévision nous a permis de profiter pleinement de nos moment de repos, l'accueil était superbe. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de prendre le petit déjeuner mais j'ose espérer qu'il soit aussi de bonne qualité."
