"The house was good but the cleaner's could of cleaned it better before we came, since the owner pays them to do a good job. Personal I would cut the shubs out near the front door and maybe some trees down due to all the leaves around on the deck in case of fires or maybe cover the deck as you couldn't sit out side. Don't get me wrong the house was fantastic with the people we had very spacious not on top of each other which was really good and the owner was great to contact if we needed...

"Our family group of 8 adults and 5 children had a great short break at The Lodge. The location could not be better for our needs and the house provided everything to make for a memorable stay. "

The listing says the house is small but there is plenty of living space and the bedrooms are a great size with plenty of storage - you could easily fit a portacot in each of the double bedrooms. Plus the location is perfect. We loved walking to the beach and everywhere else. "

"We loved staying at the lovely house close to Point Roadknight beach. House itself is a gorgeous mid century style original home. Basic, but comfortable. Great deck for kids to play outside, as well as a little cubby. And location couldn’t be any better for beach access. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property and believe it has been improved.The property is modest with a fantastic view of the ocean and lighthouse. Comfortable accommodation an updated kitchen and well resourced with crockery and utensils etc..The light house cafe almost opposite is a winner as well.A few minor issues no dish cloth the pillow protectors need replacement but overall we would have no hesitation in staying there again."

"Rustic Treehouse catered for our large group and being pet friendly was a bonus. It was a good base to explore the Great Ocean Road and Otways. Only small negative (impacted the kids more than us) was the lack of internet speed and smart tvs, but it was a blessing in disguise as we were able to switch off and explore. "
