"Convenient to main highway, yet quiet since it sits upon a hillside. Staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Updates to room are recommended for charging station and lighting. ( stayed in a suite )."

"The cabin was very cozy and just perfect for a couple. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Conveniently located not far off the main road and close to downtown Murphy. We enjoyed the peaceful setting with the trees and sound of the nearby creek.The cabin is decorated nicely and very welcoming to guests. A homemade treat was a thoughtful touch. It was easy to contact our host with any questions. "

"We recently spent a week at the Majestic Mountain View home, and it was truly wonderful. It snowed just before we arrived, which created some challenges for both us and the property manager. However, they handled the situation with kindness and generosity, and everything worked out very well.The house is really wonderful It's comfortable, has an absolutely amazing view (especially for sunsets), and has a very well-stocked kitchen. Obviously if you need some specific kitchen tool you should bring one along, but I have rarely seen a place with as many useful kitchen items as this one. I cooked every meal for a week in their kitchen with no issues at all.Definitely be aware that the house is truly isolated. It's at the top of a long, narrow gravel road with no other properties even close to it. For us, that was a big benefit. I don't think you absolutely need a 4WD car to get to the house, but if you're coming when it might rain or snow then it would probably be a good idea.I would not hesitate to come back here. We were very impressed overall by the house, and the property manager was really wonderful."

"We had a great stay at Solitude point. Extremely Private and we had snow so we were able to enjoy the mountains from the balcony at its most beautiful view. The cabin itself was extremely comfortable with Free WiFi and the gas fireplace a huge plus. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks "

"We originally planned to visit this property in September, but a hurricane forced us to reschedule. Mary kindly warned us about the conditions and helped us pick a safer date. We returned for New Year, and it was absolutely worth it!The cabin is in a private, peaceful location with few, distantly spaced neighbors. While the lake wasn’t full due to the season, we didn’t mind, as we wanted to enjoy the cozy indoors. The home is beautifully decorated, well-furnished, and fully equipped. Outdoor seating offers stunning views that pictures don’t do justice—we loved having breakfast outside every day.This is the perfect getaway for making memories and escaping busy lives. There’s plenty of room for multiple families to gather while still maintaining privacy. The kids enjoyed games, and we watched movies downstairs. Although the internet wasn’t great, that was not our goal. Mary’s detailed instructions covered everything we needed or would ever need.Overall, it was a relaxing, peaceful stay with unmatched views and comfort. Mary is very nice and personable. We can’t wait to return this summer!"
