With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. "We really enjoyed our stay. 2 Adults and 2 children (11&9). Location is outside of the city center but it was good to be near the windmills, have the use of the boat and the bikes which we would not have had if we had been in the city center. Children really liked staying on the houseboat. We bought food from the Dekemart and ate at Het Heerenhuis twice which was very good. Uses Uber and the bus to get around as well as the bikes. "Tolles Ferienobjekt mit super Ausstattung. Alles was man im Urlaub benötigt, war vorhanden. Diverse Gewürze und Kochutensilien, Spiele, TV mit Netflix, Standup Paddelboards, Schirm, Taschenlampe etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist modern und gemütlich. Angeln direkt von der Terrasse möglich. Auch Anfang November konnten wir bei Sonne ein wenig auf der Dachterrasse verweilen. Die Lage ist perfekt um verschiedene Orte zu erkunden. 100% Weiterempfehlung."

"The boat is very basic but is in a great location not far from the centre of old Amsterdam. (Ignore Diemen as the location). It’s very cheap for Amsterdam which makes up for its basic amenities. You can make use of facilities in nearby cafes and the Public library. The surrounding area is just off the tourist route so you get to see how locals live. Cees was a great host, very accessible and happy to help out and give advice."

"Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. "We had a truly wonderful stay on Robertino and Carl's boat. The property is stunning, beautifully situated and equipped with every amenity you could think of. We enjoyed cooking in their well stocked kitchen, spent our evenings on deck watching the defilé of boats pass by and slept deeply on the very comfortable beds. Even though the boat is located on a busy canal, it is very peaceful and private. Thank you for making this such a memorable stay."
