"Nous avons eu un petit problème pour recevoir notre code d’accès à la propriété. Nous avons contacté les propriétaires et ils nous ont répondu très rapidement. La chambre était très propre, par contre le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait et les ustensiles de cuisine ne sont pas nombreux. Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour. "

"Very convenient location for museum lovers. The neighbourhood was well maintained and I felt safe walking alone day and night. The room I stayed in was small (with an en suite bathroom) and furnished nicely. There was a mini fridge, a coffee maker and a small kettle. There is no front desk, someone sends you a code for the door. The price was reasonable for the room. I would consider staying here again. "

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

"Llegamos y tuvimos que aguardar por horas alguién abrir la puerta de la habitación, después aguardamos acabar la limpieza pues nada estaba limpio incluyendo nuestra habitación. Después que volvemos de la calle luego hecho el checkin, estuvimos bien, pues todo ya estaba limpio, sin embargo, una noche olvidamos las llaves en el festival y nadie pudo abrir la habitación para nosotros por un día todo. Como no hay una cópia de una llave de una habitación de un alojamiento? El señor dueño dije a otra...

"Luxurious B&B, very tranquil, clean, quiet, nice modern rooms. Belgian beers & wine available at democratic prices. Owner couple runs this B&B and have gradually expanded it over the past 12 years to now 15 rooms. We stayed in the Superior Room type which seems try largest one and is the size of a studio with separate sitting area. Breakfast served in common area but otherwise no restaurant on-site. Biking and walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a quiet stay near Dendermonde. "

"Das Zimmer war größer als erwartet. Alles gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet war perfekt. Brot, Brötchen, süße Teilchen, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Rührei, Speck, Gekochtes Ei, Obst, Müsli, Joghurt, Kaffee, Tee und Saft. Das Personal war von herzen sehr freundlich - keine gespielte Freundlichkeit :) - Das Haus und die Umgebung waren traumhaft schön. Wir haben unsere 5 Tage sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"We were in Room 1 on the backside of the house. Great location in a great neighborhood, just minutes walk from the center of the city. Nice little courtyard - would have been great if the weather was better! Inside was interesting and unique decor, yet very spacious and comfortable. Parking was a bit difficult to figure out where we could park overnight for a reasonable cost (i.e. the orange zone) - wasn't too far away, but took me quite a while to figure out where it was."

"I visited Ghent and stayed in this house with three of my friends from school on an undergrad post-graduation tour of Europe. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood to the north Ghent's center; while not an overly interesting location in itself, the house was near a tram line which made for an easy trip to most of the central sights of the city, and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood at all times of the day. "Aufgrund des Corona-Virus wurde die Veranstaltung abgesagt. Eine Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Hotel und nit Expedia verliefen ins Leere...also bleiben wir auf die Kosten von 250€+ wohl oder übel sitzen!!! Mega-ärgerlich!!@"
