"The property is nice and good value in a great location. The one disappointment is that there was zero communication. Everything was communicated through AI bots. I had messaged to ask if there was a hairdryer before our trip. AI said yes but when we arrived there was no hairdryer. Several messages per day received only AI replies and it was never resolved. Go prepared to have no help when needed."

"The location was very walkable and overall the space was large and very ideal. Unfortunately I felt the condition of the property lacked care as there were several things broken (including the front door lock to the building) and there was a certain smell of vomit in the shower which I messaged the host about and they did not return my message about. Unfortunate because the space and location have a lot of potential if the ownership took more care and cleaned the place better."

"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"Hi, + very quite surroundings (January) + fully equipped kitchen - beds are squeaking - small rooms - fireplace is artificial - no real fire Underlining - for 3 people who don't want to sleep a lot is this OK. cheers Pawel"

"Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"Moderne Ausstattung im Bad, in der Küche und im Wohnraum. Der Schlafraum roch nach muffigem Keller ( Bett?) und das war sehr unangenehm. Die Beleuchtung ist insgesamt nicht ausreichend (Leselampe wäre auch noch gut).Den Schlüsselkasten kann man anhand der Beschreibung nicht wirklich finden!! Zum Glück war der Nachbar da! Informationszettel könnte zumindest in noch Englisch geschrieben sein."

"The worst customer service ever. This is a bait and switch place. The checkin- they never sent me the email to check in. Had to go through hotels to get them to set it. Then lugged up the luggage to find out that the code didn’t work. Hit up hotels again to find out that they have the wrong address. Finally went to the next place. Up another three flights. Place is nice looking and stuff but dirty. Mold in bathroom. Blood stain on sheets. No Wi-Fi. The auto light in hallway stays on for 10...

"Wohnung (eigentlich ein kleines Häuschen) besser als ich gedacht habe. Tolle Lage, 5 Min. bis zum Meer. in dem Häuschen habe ich mich wohl gefühlt, hervorragendes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder."

"Wir haben die Zeit in Pauls Wohnung genossen. Ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, ein ruhiges, gemütliches Quartier - mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht oder brauchen könnte. Guter Standort für Fahrradtouren über die (Halb-)Insel, Zoutelande und Domburg sind nicht weit, Middelburg ist zu schaffen, auch bei Gegenwind (immer ...). WIr haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen. Klare Empfehlung!"

"Just what we were looking for after a long intercontinental flight. Comfortable, warm and inviting with a well appointed kitchen for our 4night stay, great location to beach restaurants and shops. A place to be remembered for our next visit."

"The apartment was well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The rooms are light, clean and spacious. The rear patio was a secluded sun trap perfect for a late morning breakfast. The local area is authentically Dutch with many cycle paths to beautiful beaches and towns. The towns of Goes and Middelburg are only a short drive away and well worth a visit. We will be returning to this wonderful apartment and area."
