"We booked a one bedroom spa suite for a weekend. First room was perfectly laid out, clean etc but unfortunately our loo wasn’t working. We notified staff who sent a maintenance person and when it couldn’t be quickly fixed, moved us to another similar suite. Again clean, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely weekend exploring the area and Byron Bay, it was a joy to come back to a spa bath after a day of sightseeing, sun and sand. Dining options for vegans were limited but what we did have was outstanding (tacos at the Mexican restaurant and stir fries at the Thai). Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Motel doesn't look like much from the outside. However the inside of the rooms appears to have been refurbished and is quite decent. Check in staff friendly. Location is excellent being near the beach, bars and cafes."
