"Cozy, charming home that is well maintained. Very clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were fantastic. The Ice cream shop had incredible treats, and the staff was very friendly. We would absolutely stay in The Chestnut house again! Thank you for the extended stay offer as well. Unfortunately, we had to get back to work. "

We used wash machine after getting clothes wet and muddy on trail. Kitchen fully stocked for grilling or cooking. Nearest grocery store a bit away so plan to haul in food. "

"We stayed for 3 nights to explore the Shawnee Forest. Many trails and Garden of the Gods within a half hour distance. Kids enjoyed having their own space with games in the lower level. Nice fire pit for an evening outside. Everything was great!"
