"Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"

"The property was lovely and the are very quiet. It was very difficult to locate and parking was an issue. The hot water in the shower was an issue and not enough kitchen facilities to wash up if you cook."

"Villa Alceo is amazing. Staying here was like leaving in a different age and being part of a fairy tale. Everything has been meticulously cared for and has been done for the comfort of the guests. Bruno and Julia did a great job taking care of us and really have a desire to make everything perfect. "Our stay in this house was wonderful. Francesco, the owner, is a dynamic and warm person who is easy to deal with and always available if you need him. He helped us with dinner reservations, cabs and connected us to the most amazing tour guide in Milan. He provided a chef for breakfasts and for several dinners. "Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. "It was much as I had expected, very clean, good views over the valley and excellent communication with Monia, the owner. We succeeded in stealing a key and a mirror and leaving a pair of glasses behind, all of which are finding their way back. Monia is even paying my parking fine for me as I have no idea how to do it and want to remain law abiding!! A great holiday!! PS. Take her advice re going to the Canottieri rowing club for meals. "Beautiful property!! We had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi every day! The views were spectacular and we enjoyed sitting outside every evening with a glass of wine. We would would definitely come back! Cristina was amazing!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Matisa!! The house was a perfect place for me and my friends while we were visiting Lake Como. The house was spacious, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, decorated beautifully, had amazing views of the lake and the outside patio and gardens were perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
