"We arrived in the evening. What a sight we had to welcome us! The beautiful pool was all lit up and the flowers around the pool looked stunning. The next morning we were all gobsmacked at how beautiful everything was. The photos do not do the property justice. The house is huge plenty of room for us 10. The location is beautiful, with lots of lovely walks for the dogs. Miriam is the loveliest lady too, she couldn’t do enough for us."

All 10 bedrooms were used and each member of our family were extremely happy with their accommodation. The facilities were excellent - BBQ, swimming pool used extensively. "We had a wonderful week staying in this property. The rooms are air conditoned with comfortable beds and a great shower. There is everything you need for a great holiday. The pool is amazing, it is heated and like the property spotlessly clean. It makes an ideal base for touring the area whoch is rich in history. Thank you for your hospitality and welcome pack. "

" I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the property. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff did an excellent job of keeping the hotel in top condition. One of the highlights of my stay was the ample parking available at the hotel. "I loved this hotel. The stay made my trip to Carcassonne. Everyone at the hotel, from front desk to room service, was courteous and professional. I want to specially mention Julien at the front desk, who was very helpful. Its location is very convenient for exploring the old castle area. Also I loved the hotel bakery and restaurant Chez Christine, could have eaten there every single day. "

Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale

"This is a historic hotel in the heart of Carcassonne. There are steps to the rooms. It was clean with an accommodating staff. We had a later arrival than planned and the parking attendant waited and got us and all our luggage to the hotel. We were able to access parking after hours also with a code. Breakfast was good. The bar area was lovely. I would stay here again."

"We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was an upgrade so we had a balcony and wonderful of the old city of Carcassonne. The bedroom had a huge open plan bathroom with large, round bath. We used the swimming pool, which is indoors and very nice for a quick dip. The breakfast was lovely! "
