San Ignacio is run down so this place fits in. cool building. spacious rooms. backpacker comfort level . I left my room at 820 AM and caught the 830 bus to Belize city with all my luggage a few blocks away "

"The familt thst run the property are not the owners. Very nice family however we did not get the room that we booked. We were told we had to have the basic room rsther than the superior room we chose as thw owner had not setup the Expedia system corectly. Hence the price we paid was only for the basic room. They need to sort this out as would have stayed elsewhere had we known. "

"Service nonexistent. No maid service at all. Had to ask for clean towels. No night lighting; impossible to get to without flashlight. No internet, no telephone. Had to follow owner into nearest town in order to pay bill...in cash. Unprofessional and sorely lacking in all respects. Definitely not worth the money or the time. Stay away from this one. "

"Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest.
