MT Holly Ski/lake house hideaway(Avail. Daily, weekends & seasonally Dec-April)

This four bedroom(five BEDS)/ two bathroom home sits on 10 acres and is ready for you this spring, summer, fall and winter! Recent updates include a newer kitchen, updated baths, new carpeting and fresh paint. Enjoy lunch out in the sunroom or roast marshmallows over the fire in the large, private backyard. Beautiful hardwood floors, tile throughout, tons of storage, game room with ping pong table, Sauna and dart board. Enjoy the Gas Grill for outdoor BBQ!!! 10 acres of additional forest for your adventuring and hiking.
Conveniently located just 7 minutes to Jackson Gore, 10 minutes to Ludlow and Okemo mountain and offers direct access to the VAST snowmobile trail.
2 miles directly off Shunpike Rd is Lake Ninevah Rd to lake Ninevah!! Anglers lucky enough to discover Lake Ninevah enjoy fishing for smallmouth bass, sunfish, rock bass, pickerel, perch, pike, largemouth bass and rainbow trout. The lake is small enough to navigate with oars or paddle but large enough to offer a variety of habitat for different species of fish.
Wildlife sometimes observed in the area includes eastern coyote, whitetail deer, black bear, raccoon, mink, and beaver. Along with resident breeding loons and several kinds of ducks, a variety of songbirds, water birds and raptors share the shoreline. The private roads around the lake offer plenty of leisurely walks with binoculars or camera and are great for mountain biking. Ninevah Road is itself highly recommended as a scenic bicycling tour. The Lake Ninevah Fen at the south end of the lake is one of the largest peat bogs in Vermont. Several different types of wetland habitat are present here, and support everything from rare pitcher plants to excellent lowland bear habitat

Family Vacation
James was easy to talk to and friendly. The property was beautiful and tucked away. It was on top of the mountain and had great scenic views on the drive.

Cozy family house in Vermont with lots to do
This is the second time we stayed at this property to celebrate my son's birthday and it didn't disappoint. Communication with the host/property manager was great as usual, the house was clean and cozy as I remember it from last time. We had a great time and if you're looking for a place to stay in Vermont, I would definitely recommend this place. It's a large space, well-heated, and has a lot of amenities like board games, a sauna, and a ping pong table to spend time with guests. The only thing I can recommend to the host as a cheap/easy addition is to consider adding a high chair and a pack-&-play to make life easier for parents with little kids. Other than that, this place is perfect and has pretty much everything you might possibly need.

Cozy get away
Spacious property with enough beds and space for everyone! Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the amenities like game room in the basement or the fire pit outside as we were in VT for a wedding and there was no time! My only issue is that some windows were hard to open and there were no screens! It was a little stuffy when we first got in! Overall still a good place!

Fun family getaway
Lovely property with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Enjoyed the ping pong table, the giantic dining room table, where we played board games, both living rooms where we played cards. Host was very helpful directing us to a nice nearbye restaurant to celebrate my sons 31st birthday. Would definitely go back.

Nice weekend stay
We were two families and spent a night at this place near Mt. Holly. Enjoined the time spent at the home. We had enough things to keep kids busy. Early checkin was helpful.

Here’s to the times we’ll struggle to remember - With our friends, we’ll never forget
(¯`Y´¯) ...·.¸.·´🏔️Mt. Holly☀️ ...@ .. (....✌️HIDEAWAY🐶 ☻/ /▌ / / ╰⊰⊰⊹✿🌸✿🌻✿🌸✿⊹⊱⊱╮ We are 4 couples all in our 50's. We get away for disc golf & snowmobiling a few times a year. All except one of the men in our group have been friends since elementary school so we go back a long way & look forward to these trips. We loved the location, enjoyed the yard, the kitchen was well stocked & the fire pit & games were a great addition. We tried to visit Deb at Harry's per James suggestion but all 8 of us didn't work so we went to DJ's in Ludlow. It was incredible except if you don't like spicy sauce in your spaghetti, lasagna or stuffed shells then order the strip steak or shrimp, chicken or prime rib because all of those were incredible. Having all 4 bedrooms upstairs w/only 1 bathroom up there was a bit of a drawback. The dogs enjoyed the space & privacy as much as we did. We celebrated a birthday, the girls enjoyed some silly tattoos, braids & nail stickers then we made glow sticks & light up shades w/the boys! We felt like we were at a true 80's sleepover! Our group has been traveling together for awhile so we generally come up with a few suggestions. Flat stove tops can be easy to scatter things on but those knobs are extremely touchy so, it may be a good idea to post a note that says "please keep stovetop clear" knobs turn on easily or something similar. Especially if families are coming with kids. James was very easy to communicate with. The check in process was flawless but another good tip w/be to read the check out & recycling guidelines when you arrive. Do NOT wait for checkout. These guidelines are not location specific since they ask you to load the dishwasher yet there is not one installed. Also, a spare hand can opener could be a good idea we had trouble w/the white one. Also, possibly consider a dish rack & a few serrated knives for people who need to cut steaks or tomatoes. Additionally, the zero sort recycling memo is very confusing - especially since there is only 1 garbage can in the house. Adding 1 or 2 more & listing the acceptable items on them w/clarify the process much better. With a few minor adjustments this place could be a Home Run! In lieu of some of these small hiccups we all had an amazing time & enjoyed communicating w/James. If we we're back in the area we would consider staying here again. James, Thank you for everything you did to make the weekend a success!

Clean, beautiful, spacious and calming stay
My family and I had an amazing time at Mount Holly. We were very surprised of how spacious this spot was. Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The younger adults played ping pong while the older adults enjoyed the hot sauna. The only thing that we had trouble with was finding the keybox because we got there when it was dark out so make sure to have your phone out with the flash light if you are getting there later on in the day. We will definitely book here again!

Cozy Gem
This pet friendly property is very well kept, everything was spotless. It provided all the essentials that we needed, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, grill, fire pit, etc. The kitchen was stocked with every utensils, the only thing that was missing was basic cooking seasonings/oils, however that was not a deal breaker. The added bonus for us, was the game room with the ping pong table and sauna. Ps- James is really helpful and he’s also great at communicating.
