"The house is well designed, sits on a terrific property and well located. The kitchen is also well stocked and overall we had a lovely time.However, the house does fall short on a few items you would expect at that price level. There is no A/C, and you can not change the temperature from the subfloor heating yourself. "Just one night stay before doing Otago Rail Trail. Handy to airport but a little remote. Very well appointed rooms with kitchenette and laundry facilities. Air conditioning unit makes unusual noises, otherwise very quiet and comfortable."

Warm, cozy, very chic!

"We celebrated an engagement at the Kāmana Lakehouse and honestly it se the tone for our whole trip. It was so lovely to come home to such a cozy and chic hotel. The fires roaring in the lobby, the views from the restaurant, it all made for a very warm experience. The staff were very friendly! We didn’t get to experience the soaking tubs because they were in high demand, so we suggest booking your soaks ahead of time!"

"Absolutely adored our stay at the Heritage. From signing in to signing out we had a lovely experience. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Our only bit of feedback- and I’m scraping the barrel here- is that it would be nice to have smart TVs and drop the sky as it makes for better watching but with all the entertainment in the area and the stunning scenery there was little time for TV anyway. "
